Question: Why should you turn off Bluetooth capabilities on your devices while traveling?
Answer: Bluetooth connectivity allows your device to connect wirelessly with other devices, such as headphones or the audio systems in your car or home. While you travel, nearby cyber criminals can hack into your device. Once connected to your phone, hackers can infect your device with malware, steal your personal data, or spy on you without you even noticing. To prevent this, be sure to disable these features and only turn them on when you want to connect to a specific Bluetooth device or network.
